Lovely Holiday Villa
La Bastide de Correns is a lovely Provencal villa on a private estate, just outside the very small, very French village of Correns, in the countryside behind the Côte d'Azur.
It’s a magical place, a haven of peace and tranquility, where the fresh air is scented by wild lavender, rosemary and thyme and the silence interrupted, only by the unique sound of summertime in Provence, the chant of the cicadas.
Located just 10 minutes walk from the village of Correns, our villa is nestled in a protected valley, where the landscape offers majestic panoramas, lush vegetation, calm waters and the birthplace of a richly preserved biodiversity.
Rental for families and friends
Part of La Bastide is our residence which we enjoy all year round. The part we rent is completely independent and includes:
- a villa with 2 bedrooms, 2 bathrooms, living room, dining room, kitchen and 2 terraces
- 2 suites, each with their double bedroom, bathroom and terrace
The villa and the 2 suites will be at your exclusive disposal (no other tenants during your stay) and each have their own private entrance and parking. Thanks to the modular layout of the villa and suites, you can comfortably accommodate your family and friends, up to 10 people.
Correns the 1st Organic Village in France
Correns has a rustic and timeless charm, steeped in centuries of agriculture and viniculture. But this ancient settlement also has a very special place in modern French history.
In 1997, Correns was nominated the « 1st Organic Village in France » and our farming community proudly produce organic wine, goats cheese, honey, olives, olive oil, truffles, eggs, chickens and a variety of seasonal fruit and vegetables, all of which are available to purchase directly from the producers, in and around the village.
Correns is the perfect base from which to explore the Var, a 50 minute car journey takes you; north to Europes largest canyon the Gorge du Verdon, south to the glitz and glamour of the Cote d’Azur and the beautiful city of Aix-en-Provence is west, with many more fabulous places to explore all around.
